Duties : Chauffeurs drive to clients on a 50cc folding moped then drive the client home in the client’s car (with the moped sealed in the boot).
Hours : Friday and Saturday nights, possibly with further work on weekdays. A typical shift begins at 9pm or 10pm, and finishes at 2am or 3am.
Pay : Typically between £35 and £40 per night. A guaranteed minimum of £30 per night will be paid regardless of the number of clients a Chauffeur takes. There will also be commission depending on fares taken.
Applicants : Applicants must be aged over 21 years. It is essential to have held a full UK car driving licence for 2 years and to be a careful and experienced car driver, ideally with 3 points or less on licence. Moped experience is essential (a full bike licence or CBT is preferred although experience of riding scooters may be sufficient). Knowledge of the main routes between towns in Manchester is preferred and candidates should have good map reading skills. Applicants must be self-motivated and reliable.
